To unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship.
Program Summary:
Zeta members will participate in a getting to know you activity. Business will include committee and convention reports by chapter members. Those wishing to socialize will meet at Amelia’s for lunch and fellowship.

Program Title:
Making a Multi-Generational Chapter Work
Program Purposes:
To honor women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education.
To inform the members of current economic, social,political and educational issues so that they may participate effectively in a world society.
Program Summary:
The head of the volunteers for the Waco Library Services will introduce our local projects. Linda
Ewing will present a program on various generations. Margaret Hool will conduct a recommitment ceremony. A vote on prospective members will be taken. The music committee will lead us in music related to membership. Lilian Rathman will update chapter members on current legislative issues. Refreshments will be provided and served by the social committee.

Program Title:
Holiday Auction
Program Purposes:
To honor women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education.
To endow scholarships to aid outstanding women educators in pursuing graduate study and to grant fellowships to women educators from other countries.
Program Summary:
The ladies of our chapter will participate in an auction of holiday items. Proceeds will benefit our Mary Clayton Zeta Scholarship Fund. Initiation of new members will follow, climaxed with refreshments.

Program Purpose:

Program Summary:
Zeta ladies and their guests will enjoy Christmas music presented by a hand bell choir. They will celebrate Zeta’s 79th birthday with a luncheon and ceremony.

Making a Difference in Our World
Program Purpose:
To stimulate the personal and professional growth of members and to encourage their participation in appropriate programs of action.
Program Summary:
Members will become acquainted with the opportunities to get involved in the community through local projects. A presentation will be provided by the director of Habitat for Humanity. The “Tea Lady” will introduce us to the history of tea, the proper ways to serve it, and share her collection of tea sets. A tea and refreshments will follow.

Program Title:
Advocacy: Making a Difference with Our Voices
Program Purposes:
To initiate, endorse and support desirable legislation or other suitable endeavors in the interests of education and of women educators.
To inform the members of current economic, social, political and educational issues so that they may participate effectively in a world society
Program Summary:
We fill find out more about the importance of advocacy from those who have actually accomplished things by speaking up for their
professional beliefs. Dr. Jan Hungate will coordinate this program focusing not only on the advocacy experience, but also on opportunities for Zeta members to act. The ladies will be given the opportunity to contribute to the World Fellowship Fund. Forms will be issued for recommending new members. Refreshments will be enjoyed during the meeting.

Program Title:
Expanding Personal Horizons Through the Eyes of Authors, Beatrix Potter and Nina Burleigh
Program Purposes:
To unite women educators of the world in a genuine spiritual fellowship.
To honor women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education.
Program Summary:
Zeta members will hear reports of educators’ award-winning books. A historian will tell the group about one of the stained glass windows as they view it at First Presbyterian Church of Waco. A ceremony of remembrance will be conducted in the church’s Chapel. Those desiring will eat out together afterwards.

To advance the professional interest and position of women in education.
To endow scholarships to aid outstanding women educators in pursuing graduate study and to grant fellowships to women educators from other countries
Program Summary:
The chapter will be challenged to grow as mentors both professionally and personally. They will be informed of opportunities already in place in the area and to consider appropriate programs of action. Scholarship and grants-in-aid recipients will be introduced, followed by a brief social time and refreshments. Initiation of new members will complete the meeting.
