Don’t forget to dress for a morning of cleaning and organizing! Following our business meeting, we will be given a tour of the Y Shelter, and then divided into small working groups. When asked if we would be interested in organizing closets of volunteered items, and general cleaning, my response was that we want to be put to work and would be up to anything that could be accomplished by 11:30. They are very excited to see a large group of volunteers willing to dedicate a big chunk of time! They are also looking for donations of hygiene supplies specifically body wash and shampoos, and shaving cream.
Folstad Honored
Collete Folstad, Beta's Treasurer, was recently inducted into Concordia College's Athletic Hall of Fame. Colletee was the Cobber women's first coach from 1974-1980. In 1976 she was the first recipient of the Girls’ Sports Coach of the Year awarded by the National High School Athletic
Coaches Association, and she has been honored with Coach of the Year awards multiple times. More information and a photo can be seen at
