Goals and Purposes for 2010-12

Goal I: To implement the 2010-12 International theme: "Leading Women Educators Impacting Women Worldwide"
Goal II: To offer educationally sound, relevant programs that enhance members' professionalism and the quality of community life
Goal III: To advocate for educational excellence through projects and activities   

Goal IV: To improve "sisterhood" among members

Purposes
In alignment with the seven purposes of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, the purposes of the Alpha Psi Chapter shall be:

I. To unite members in a genuine spiritual fellowship

II. To recognize and celebrate achievements of members

III. To advance the professional interests  and position of members

IV. To initiate, endorse, and support desirable legislation or other suitable endeavors in the interests of education and of women educators

V. To provide scholarships to aid members in pursuing graduate study or additional certification

VI. To stimulate the personal and professional growth of members and to encourage their participation in appropriate programs of action
