The goal of the 2011-2013 Lambda State Nominations Committee is to assist chapters in selecting future leaders to serve at all levels of the Society – chapter, state and international. This year, 2011-2012, Chapter Nominations Chairs are asked to share the following steps to engage members and encourage full participation.
Letter to Chapter Nominations Chair
International: Inform members of the specific opportunities to serve at the International Level
- Forms are available at www.dkg.org and due by October 15, 2011
- Positions include President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Northeast Regional Director, Member-at-Large for the Administrative Board, International Finance Committee, Nominations Committee, Board of Trustees for The Delta Kappa Gamma Educational Foundation
Chapter: Search for and select your next Chapter President for the 2012-2014 biennium
- Submit her contact information (click here for word or pdf) on the Notification of Selection of Chapter President for 2012-2014 form to the State Nominations Chair and she will begin receiving helpful “Monthly Tips” designed to assist her in her future role
- Read and share the Letter to Chapter Nominations Chairs (click here) for information including:
- Possible topics of “Monthly Tips”
- Opportunities to serve at the International Level
- List of Lambda State Nominations Committee Members, their Area and the chapters they serve
- Contact information form (Notification of Selection of Chapter President for 2012-2014)
(Next year, 2012-2013, we will be seeking candidates to serve at the State Level.)
