There are some back birthdays that need to be recognized as well as others:JANUARY: Nancy Turner, Susan Vinson, Jacque Clemens, and Connie Lewis; FEBRUARY: Carole Jo Hardiman, Lucille Williams, and Dawn James; MARCH: Melanie Jensen, Melissa Olson, and Missy Jungling; APRIL: Jessica Horton, Gale Workman, Sally Roberts, June Townsend, Sherrill Ragans, and Janice McClung.
Our first eating-out meeting will be on Tuesday night, April 17th , 6 p.m. at BEEF O'BRADY, 2910 Kerry Forest Pkwy. We will be in a side room. Just tell them at the door that you are with Delta Kappa Gamma and they will direct you to the room on the right side. This should be a fun time of sharing (and no cooking or doing dishes). There are so many of my Alpha Kappa sisters that I have not seen in awhile. I am looking forward to seeing you!
Our Founders' Day luncheon will be Saturday May 19th at 11:00 A.M. The place has not been determined although, the last I heard, they are leaning toward having it at Lincoln High School. Those who were there last year can testify to the wonderful meal. Our chapter is in charge of the program. It should be an excellent reenactment of a visit with the founders of Delta Kappa Gamma. A thank you goes to Donna Heald, Beta Phi chapter, for this idea.
May 4th and 5th will be the District One Conference in Pensacola. I hope that there will be at least 6 attending from our chapter. The more the merrier! Clancy O'Donnell has done a fine job of organizing this event. She has even planned for an extra trolley ride for $35.00 that gives a tour of Pensacola and includes dinner. The registration forms can be found on the Delta Kappa Gamma website and I will have the forms at our April 17th meeting at Beef O'Brady's.
