POST-CONFERENCE SEMINAR
"Newsletter Editor's Camp"
State and chapter newsletter editors from throughout the
Society are invited to attend Editor's Camp in Little Rock,
Arkansas from July 19-20. The series of sessions being
planned is designed assist individuals or organizations in
producing more professional and attractive newsletters.
Two experienced newsletter editors will lead this day and
a half of intense, hands-on experience that follows the
Southeast Regional Conference.
The workshop will be held at the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Camp, nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains just 10 miles west of Little Rock. It is a spectacular setting for this workshop, featuring wireless access and the latest in meeting technologies and computer labs.
The number of participants will be limited to 15 persons based on available accommodations at the Arkansas 4-H Camp. The registration fee of $150 will cover instruction, all materials, use of technology services, one night's lodging (three to a room/separate beds), three meals, and beverage service. Transportation to and from Little Rock to the camp is also part of this fee. Numerous airlines serve the Little Rock area should you elect to fly. Travel by car is equally easy with both US 30 and US 40 merging in Little Rock. Participants are encouraged to seek financial support for attending this workshop. The skills acquired will directly benefit state organizations.
