Scholarships

Purpose #5: To endow scholarships to aid outstanding women educators in pursuing graduate study and to grant fellowships to women educators from othercountries

In following with our society's purpose number 5, resources are provided in the form of scholarships and stipends from the international, state, and local levels.

International Scholarships

Recipients must be Delta Kappa Gamma members for five years.

Recipients must be working toward a Doctorate degree.

Application deadline is February 1.

Alpha Sigma State Scholarships

Recipients must be Delta Kappa Gamma members in a Washington chapter.

Recipients must have been a Delta Kappa Gamma member for two years.

Recipients must be working toward an advanced degree or specialized study above a B.A.

Alpha Sigma State Scholarship Chairman: Jane Gerdon (For Application, see Forms.)

Rachel Royston Permanent Scholarship

Recipients must be women educators in Washington.

Recipients must be pursuing a study beyond a B.A. at an accredited college.

Recipients DO NOT need to be Delta Kappa Gamma members.

Next application period opens July 1, 2011

Applications for scholarships for 2012-2013 will be available on the Forms page or

from Annamarie Lavieri beginning July 1, 2011.
