THETA CHI ORIGINS

 Theta Chi Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was organized
 on October 6, 1969, by Dr. Eula Lee Carter, Chairman, Alpha State
Committee on Organization and Expansion,
and by Miss Phyllis Ellis, Alpha State Executive Secretary.
Theta Chi Chapter was sponsored
by Eta Epsilon Chapter. The 214th chapter organized in Alpha State, Texas,
Theta Chi serves key women educators living or working
 in the northeast Tarrant County area.
