Beta Sisters,
Because of the bad weather, we had to cancel our scheduled meeting on Jan. 8th. There are a couple of things
that require attention before February.
- Executive Board Meeting- Saturday, Jan. 29th
On Saturday, Jan. 29th at
10 AM there will be an executive board meeting. Any members can feel free to attend. We will meet at Panera Bread
restaurant near Rivergate Mall. After the meeting, anyone who wants to can eat lunch together at Panera.
- Legislative Symposium
Jan. 30th is the deadline for those wanting to attend either the Tuesday
night or Wednesday morning session.
Tuesday, March 1st 7:30 PM meeting. A group from the chapter
usually meets at the Millenium Maxwell House Hotel early to eat dinner. Let me know if you want to be included
in a group that meets for dinner.
Wednesday, March 2nd 6:30 AM breakfast, $20. Please send your
$20 to Shirley Dowell by January 27th. She has to have the money in by Jan. 30th.
- If you are planning to attend - either the board meeting on Jan. 29th or any part of the Legislative
Symposium on March 1-2, please RSVP to Jan Brown by Jan. 25 by phone or email. I
will call those who RSVP if there is bad weather on January 29th.
- Directions to Panera
If you are going I-65, get off at Rivergate Parkway and turn
right. You will go by Rivergate Mall on the left. McHenry Shopping Center is on the right corner of Rivergate Parkway
and Gallatin Road. Panera Bread is on the end of the strip mall with Booksamillion, Hobby Lobby, and Staples.
