PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Hello Alpha Pi members!

Thank you to all who attended our February meeting. I look forward to seeing those members, as well as any who were absent, at our March 7 meeting. This is an important time for teachers in our state and nation and I will be reporting on the Legislative Seminar Martha and I attended on March 1-2 as we interacted with our local representatives in the Tennessee state legislature.

Alpha Pi chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma gives you a strong voice in times of educational crises so please take advantage of your membership in this prestigious organization.

Our next meeting at 4:30 pm on March 7 at BelAire Elementary School will feature a program presented by Rena Flowers, a nationally certified teacher at BelAire.

See you at 4:30 pm on March 7 at BelAire Elementary School in Tullahoma.

Carmen

COMMITTEE CORNER

Committee chairs have received folders that will be passed on to future chairs to provide consistency in communication as our chapter moves from one biennium to the next. One important component of each folder is a list of duties to be performed by that committee. Each folder also contains an original Recommendation for Membership form that can be copied as needed when potential new members are invited to join. Another page that will remain in the folder has the words to the Delta Kappa Gamma song, collect, and pledge.

The new yearbooks are ready and they look great!
