Provide "Read to Me" bags with book and information to families with newborns
 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center

Present a $500 scholarship to a future teacher in one of the four high
schools in our three counties

Provide school supplies for some schools in Iraq through military personnel

      Encourage members to seek administrative positions

Aquaint ourselves with the true meaning and purposes of Delta Kappa Gamma

Encourage every member to participate in literacy projects

Foster support for public education

Foster a safe, caring environment which promotes excellence in education

Encourage members to apply for Cornetet awards and other scholarships
