Workshop Title:
Non-Dues Revenue: Balancing the Bottom Line
Presenter:
Suzanne Long, Beta Theta, International Non-Dues Revenue Committee 2010-2012

Does your chapter use fund raising to avoid increasing dues and fees? Join this "round table" discussion and share your chapter's best practices while learning the tactics of the other chapters across Pennsylvania to subsidize dues and fund chapter projects.

Workshop Title:
As the SAP Rises
Presenter:
Sue Stamm, Lambda

Do you know what a strategic action plan is? Would you like to learn to develop a plan to improve your chapter? Attend this session to gain the knowledge to accomplish this.

Workshop Title:
Welcome to the Jungle
Presenter:
Amy Miehl and Margo Keefer, Gamma

Welcome to the Jungle...or at least the rainforest of Costa Rica! Join Amy and Margo as they share adventures from their DKG Enrichment Grant opportunity in the rainforest. See how they applied their knowledge to help their third graders create a “real live” rainforest at their school. Researched, created, and “staffed” by students, the rainforest experience is one not to be missed!

Workshop Title:
Communicating with Your Baby
Presenter:
Barb Clark, Psi, Amy Buddock, Beta Omicron with Isabelle (age 4 years) & Alexander (age 14 months ) Buddock

Sign language is for EVERYONE!! Sign language can be taught to babies before they can speak! It helps them communicate their needs and wants before spoken language develops, thus minimizing the “terrible twos”. Come see 14 month Alexander sign! Teachers can also use sign language with students, especially, autistic students. So Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunts, & Teachers come see how you can use sign language to enrich your life and those of the children in your life!!
