Travels with Lu

Lu Page, 2000-2002 Beta Chapter President, loves going to Society events at all levels. During the first year of her presidency, she has attended:

June 2000 - Alpha Alpha State Convention, State College, PA

July 25-29, 2000 - 2000 International Convention, Toronto, Ontario

Shortly after the Alpha Alpha State Convention, Lu and Kathy Glaes drove up to Toronto for the International Convention.

Toronto was celebrating the Moose by strewing artisticly enhanced fiberglass Moose around the city. This one was in front of the convention center.

Conventions are a great place to meet friends from other chapters. Here is Lu with Carol Ulrich and Esther Grander of Nu Chapter, Lebanon.

September 2000 -- Fall Area Workshop, hosted by Nu Chapter in Lebanon

Esther Grander (wearing the antlers) describes the moose we encountered in Toronto during the International Convention.

There were musicians and singers to entertain workshop attendees during lunch.

November 2000 -- State Leadership Development Retreat

In November Alpha Alpha State held it's Leadership Development Retreat in Harrisburg--Lu was there, too!

Lu takes part in a team discussion of educational issues relating to the community.
