“DEEP in the WOODS” – Visit the Matthew Knight Arena to see the facility and the unusual design on the floor, called “Deep in the Woods.”  You have probably seen it while watching University of Oregon Duck Basketball games on television, and have wondered how it looks in person.  We will start with a tour of the new Ford Alumni Center, which adjoins the arena. 

Meet in the lobby of the Hilton Hotel at 12:45p.m. We will travel to the University of Oregon in private cars and return by 3:00 for those going on a second tour.  (Please mark this tour on your registration form so that we will know how many cars are needed.) 

3:00-5:00 PM 

“ART & WINE TASTING – EUGENE WALKING TOUR” -- Eugene has several art and wine venues within 3 or 4 blocks of the Eugene Hilton.  These include the Jacobs Gallery, the White Lotus, and the Olive Grand.  At the Olive Grand you may view art of all types, including painting, pottery and glass, as well as sample the wine and different types of olive oils.
