Saturday - Dr. Nancy Golden, Springfield Superintendent. Nancy is a member of the Oregon Education Investment Board which is chaired by the Governor. The board is overseeing an effort to create a seamless, unified system for investing in and delivering public education from early childhood through high school and college so that all Oregonians are well prepared for careers in our economy. Governor Kitzhaber has designated Springfield’s School Superintendent, Nancy Golden to serve as his alternate in the role of Board Chair. |

Dr. Lynda (Lyn) B. Schmid, DKG Northeast Regional Director, has been assigned as the Society representative to our state convention. She will share with us all the exciting things that are happening at the International level of our Society and be an active participant in the convention. |
