ANNOUNCEMENTS
Previewing April Program
More than 10 years ago Deb Jenkins started working at the Full Circle Cafe. To compliment her position as chef, she introduced music in the evening with a variety of women entertainers sharing their talents. This was all made easy by the fact she was a renowned musician and blues singer herself. Then she thought, "Wouldn't it be fun to have a get-together of these women at the cate- kind of like their own little Lileth Fair?" So several did that, and then Jenkins had an even grander vision. "I couldn't leave it alone," she said. "I thought maybe we could do it bigger yet!"
Here it is 2008, and Jenkins just celebrated the 11th anniversary observance of the event appropriately called Celebration of Women & Their Music which recently  took place at the Historic Fargo Theatre. The money raised at the event goes into an award endowment fund established with the F-M Area Foundation, that provides for an annual award  presented to one or more local high school female artists. Deb will be sharing her experiences with this celebration. You won't want to miss this program!!

Dear Jennette,
Thank you for the wonderful card I received today from the Beta Chapter with plenty of warm thoughts and wishes for my studies and stay in the US. Do convey my deep appreciation for this gesture to the Beta sisters.
Warm regards,
Pam, Uganda

Beta Chapter will have its next Initiation of New Members at the September meeting, and not at the May meeting this year. You still have time to bring membership recommendations to the April meeting. So please take some time in the next few weeks to consider making a recommendation of someone you would recommend.
