Call-To-Action:
During the 2011 NC Legislative session in Raleigh, the North Carolina Teaching Fellows program was cut from the budget. Over the years, this outstanding program has brought into NC’s classrooms some of the “best and the brightest” to teach our students. Please take a few minutes to contact your representatives in the NC House and Senate and urge them to reinstate this valuable program for the future good of our state. They will be convening on April 23, to consider budget adjustments, so your contacts should be made prior to the beginning of the session. To find your House and Senate representatives, go to www.ncleg.net and click on “Who represents me?” at the top of the page.
