Bits from Jill
Happy
New Year to Alpha Mu sisters,
In
the midst of a struggling economy, a difficult job market and shrinking
education dollars, we need to pause, remember and celebrate the shining moments
and events that we have in our lives.
Our
families, our mental and physical health, our friends and people in our
communities are all part of our very busy lives. The generosity and sharing that take place in
the corners of each of our days can be acknowledged, treasured and appreciated.
From
the strangers who help to dig out our cars when we get stuck, to the folks who
collect for the Salvation Army during the holidays, there are so many people
that help us through some of our more difficult days. We smile and weep through the birth of
babies, school success, sports wins and losses, and the milestones that we
reach, and we are a part of events that will never come again.
Through
the illnesses of our family and friends and the grief of the passing of those
we hold dear, celebration of our lives continues.
Treasure
the giggles of our children, the discoveries of youth and the smiles and
greetings of colleagues, every day.
I
wish each one of you good health, peace and serenity throughout 2009 and
beyond.

again DKG sisters and Happy New Year!

on merchandise all week long, one that we can pass along to friends and family. Circare will give
us a portion of the proceeds from items that are purchased using our special
DKG savings code. I will send out more
detailed information as the event gets closer.
