Society Historian: Helene Historian First Page Label the top of each page with chapter name, year, and page number. Example: Alpha Chapter, 1998-2000, page 1 List Charter members. Include the month, day, year, and the place where your Chapter was organized as well as the person who organized the Chapter. List the current officers and committee chairpersons. If you include photos of the officers, please label them. Subsequent pages Brief narrative history of activities, programs, projects and involvement in scholarship, Clara Soule, etc. The narrative should include: -Recognition of members involved in special educational and community pursuits. -Those holding office or attending meetings at State or International level. -Any musical events. -Any events of particular enjoyment or special honor. -Whatever your Chapter feels is important. Please include news clippings and special photos. Make sure that news clippings include name and date of publication. Photos are always welcome, but they need to be labeled with name(s), date, and occasion. Other necessary information: List of new members either by initiation or transfer with date. List of members lost by transfer or resignation with date. List of deceased members with date. Total number of chapter members. Each report must be signed by the Chapter Historian and the Chapter President. Plastic sleeves for Chapter Histories will be available at the Spring Convention.
