Communication from
Upsilon State President

Dispatch (2.2) from Dena.
Create a BUZZ!
The International Communications Committee is "Creating a
BUZZ"
to make Delta Kappa Gamma more visible our our
communities, states, and country.
They will be developing a "Tip of the
Month", with ideas to help us to get the word out about our
wonderful society.
Here are this month's tips:
-
Plan to attend the Northwest
Conference, July 29-Aug. 1 in Portland, Oregon. There
are always inspiring speakers, outstanding workshops, and
great opportunities to network with colleagues.
-
Share the Society's Heritage and
Data. Reviewing the history and information about the
Society is a great way to spread the word.
-
"Buzz" about exciting chapter
activities and projects or highlight a member's
accomplishments.
-
Make sure that the information you
share is accurate and up-to-date.
-
If you don't have your "elevator
speech" yet, now is a good time to get it ready!

"Creating a BUZZ" activities.
