Convention Planning Committee

2011 State Convention. The convention planning committee is hoping
that with regular communications between the committee and members we
can spark an interest in attending the convention in Burlington in
2011.

Welcome
to the Upsilon State (Iowa) website! You will find an array of information about the
exciting educational events in our state. During the 2009-2011 biennium, our theme is “The Magic
of Teaching and Learning.”

We've
added 13 area coordinators. Click here to
find your area coordinator.

A=Anniversary

We
will be celebrating our 75th state anniversary in June 2011 in
Burlington.

G=Gift of
Reading --
|
Either
start or expand a reading project to
encourage reading among students, teachers, and
community members. Donating books would be fine, but try to also
find a way for members to
participate in reading.

I=Iowa --
|
We
will support Carolyn Rants, our Iowan, with her international
presidency. Feel free to send Carolyn encouraging messages!
